A Calgary homeless man has been found not guilty of second-degree murder in the stomping of another shelter client.
Faud Yasir Ali was charged after Mustafe Mohamud Hussein died in the summer of 2015.
Court heard the Somalian-born man was beaten and stomped into a coma.
Ali testified in his own defence and denied any involvement in the attack.
The trial judge ruled that surveillance images of the killer did not resemble the accused.
