A number of animals have been killed in a fire at a non-profit operation for homeless and abused animals south of Edmonton.
Flames broke out in a barn at Farm Animal Rescue and Rehoming Movement, east of Wetaskiwin, early last evening.
Officials say the building was engulfed in flame by the time crews arrived.
No humans were hurt and there’s no immediate word on how many animals were killed.
