Almost 700,000 Albertans cast ballot in advance polls

A whopping 696,000 people have voted in advance polls ahead of tomorrow’s Alberta election.

It shatters the previous record of 235,000 in 2015.

A rule change allowed early voters to cast ballots anywhere, not just in the constituencies where they live.

Tomorrow for Election Day polls will be open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
