Confirmed case of tuberculosis at Calgary daycare

Letters have been sent to 150 people in the Calgary area advising them that they or their child may have been exposed to a confirmed case of tuberculosis at a daycare.
Alberta Health Services says the chance of transmission is low and the case does not present an ongoing risk at the daycare or to the public.
AHS says to protect patient confidentiality, it will not release the name of the business or when the possible exposure occurred.
The agency says routine follow-up screening is planned.
