Notley vows to lead Official Opposition

Rachel Notley may have lost her government’s re-election bid in yesterday’s Alberta election, but the NDP chief won her own Edmonton seat and vows to stay on to lead the province’s Official Opposition.
Notley’s New Democrats were resoundingly turfed from power after just one four-year term by voters frustrated with Alberta’s lingering economic woes.
Jason Kenney and his United Conservative Party won a majority government.
