Motorcycle crash hospitalizes two in Edmonton

Edmonton police think speed was a factor in a collision that left two motorcycle riders in hospital, including one in critical condition.

Investigators say the crash happened yesterday afternoon on Anthony Henday Drive when the bike with two women aboard was hit from behind by a large van.

Both riders were thrown from the bike and the van continued forward, hitting a vehicle.

Charges have not been laid.
