Local Green-a-thon cancelled for 2019

Due to snow and cold weather in this weekend’s forecast, Rotary’s Green-a-thon in Grande Prairie has been cancelled for this year.
Spokesperson Don Whiteford says it’s only the third time in 46 years they have had to cancel the clean-up event.
He says they won’t be rescheduling the event for this year and they’ll try again in 2020.
