Nielsen & Giants return home following split in Prince Albert

May 6, 2019 | 6:40 AM

Fort St.John’s Tristan Nielsen and the Vancouver Giants are returning to the B.C lower mainland with the WHL Final all tied up at a game a piece.

Nielsen’s Giants earned a 5-4 win to kick-off the WHL Final Friday night at the Art Hauser Centre in Prince Albert, but the Raiders would bounce back in Game 2 with a 4-0 win to tie the best of seven series at 1.

However, the Giants now have home ice advantage as the series moves to the Langley Events Centre for games 3,4, and 5.
