Peace Region connection to Galahad, Alberta murder case

A preliminary hearing for a murder case with connections to the Peace Country will take place today in a Camrose courtroom.

Killam RCMP charged Brett Thomas Fenton with first degree murder after a woman’s body was found in a Galahad, Alberta home November 2 last year.

Her name was not released, but her family has confirmed she and Fenton were both from the Spirit River area.

Police did not say how she died.
