Mets and Huskies renew hostilities in Grimshaw

May 28, 2019 | 6:43 AM

The Wheatbelt Baseball league will resume play this evening with one game on the schedule.

For the 3rd time already in the young season the Grimshaw Huskies and Manning Mets will collide on the diamond.

Each team has won once in the season series with the home team winning both games.

First pitch is tonight at 7:15 p.m.

Despite no action on the diamond Monday, there was some league news.

The Peace River Stampeders announced on Facebook that due to the evacuation centre being needed in Peace River their diamond has been closed until further notice.

The County Brewers aren’t back on the diamond until Saturday when they host Peace River.
