Registration open for GP Summer Camps

Registration for the City of Grande Prairie’s Summer Camps is now open to the public.

Recreation Programming and Events Supervisor Hayley Kramps shares there are plenty of options for kids of all ages.

” This year we have a lot of exciting programs. As well as some reoccurring programs we have. We are really looking to promote our summer programs because we have such a wide variety ranging from different cooking classes and stuff going on at the outdoor pool.”

Kramps also added there are some exciting new programs which youth can sign up for.

“This year we have a new one out at newly renovated Bear Creek Pavilion. It will be out at South Bear Creek and will be an all sports camp. It will have two different age groups. We have 5-8 and 8-12 and it will alternate weeks. It will use the outdoor beach volleyball courts and the softball diamonds.”
