M.D. of Greenview lifts fire and OHV ban

The M.D. Of Greenview has lifted its fire ban and Off Highway Vehicle ban in the white zone of the M.D. (crown lands), as temperatures begin to cool and rain is in forecast for the coming days.

That does not include the Town of Valleyview, as the town has a full fire ban in place. Fire bans and OHV bans remain in many other surrounding municipalities, including the County of Grande Prairie, Saddle Hills County, and the City of Grande Prairie.

The province has lifted fire bans in many parts of northern Alberta, including some spots in the Grande Prairie, Edson, and Whitecourt Forest areas.
