Rage hang on late for win over Manning

It was a dominate performance for the Rycroft Rage for 6 innings Thursday night, but started to get a bit dicey in the 7th for the defending league champs.

The Rage had a commanding 8-0 lead going into the 7th and final inning and appeared to be well on their way to their 3rd win of the season.

However, the Manning Mets had other ideas.

The Mets would rattle off 6 straight runs in the 7th inning to pull the gap to within 2, but that was as close as they would come as Rycroft hung on for the 8-6 win.

With the win the defending league champions improve to 3-2 on the season.
