Brewers edge Rage to pad lead atop Wheatbelt standings

The County Brewers padded their lead atop the Wheatbelt Baseball League standings.
That comes following a 2-1 win over the Rycroft Rage last night at the Crosslink County Sportsplex, moving the Brewers to a record of 6-1. The Peace River Stampeders sit in second with a record of 6-3.
The Brewers have now won six straight games and have not lost since their season opener against the Rage back on May 16.
The Wheatbelt Baseball League schedule resumes on Monday when Peace River hosts Grimshaw. The Huskies will then travel to Clairmont to battle the Brewers on Tuesday.
