Muskoseepi Park plays host to Indigenous Fest on Sunday.
Metis Local 1990 President Angie Crerar says it is a day of celebration where they honour their distinct cultural heritage.
“There are a lot of games, including bingo in the elder’s tent. And we are trying to get people involved this year, instead of people sitting back and just watching the performace. We want people to participate together and have fun.”
There will also be fiddling and jigging, arts and crafts and food demostrations.
