The 2019-2020 season for GPRC Athletics will have plenty of fresh faces behind the bench, but there will be one coach returning from the 2018-2019 campaign between the volleyball and basketball clubs.

The GPRC Wolves have announced Evan Lloyd, Head Coach of the Men’s Basketball team, has renewed his contract for the upcoming year.

In a press release from GPRC Thursday morning, Lloyd stated he is extremely excited to be back with GPRC and to continue to grow as a coach.

“I’m looking forward to continuing to grow our team standards and establish a good winning culture.”

In total, Lloyd has 12 years of professional coaching experience and originally joined the GPRC Wolves in 2014 as an Assistant Coach.

This coming season will be Lloyd’s third as head honcho behind the GPRC Men’s Basketball team bench.

GPRC Athletics Manager Thomas Slifka adds in the press release that Lloyd has become a tremendous asset to the school.

“We are excited that Evan will continue to lead our Men’s Basketball program. He is developing a consistent program that values academic, athletic, and citizen development.”

The 2019-2020 basketball season begins in October.
