Nolin is rollin into Day 3 of Ponoka Stampede at the top of the leaderboard
Rain overnight and throughout most of the day Thursday made for some sloppy conditions on the track for Day 2 of the Ponoka Stampede.
When the night wrapped up it was defending Champion Vern Nolin who not only posted the fastest time of the night, but now sits in 1st place on aggregate.
The day money run has vaulted Vern Nolin into first place in the overall aggregate with a two-run total of 2:37.90.
That puts him slightly ahead of Day 1 winner Chanse Vigen, with Ross Knight, Mark Sutherland and Mitch Sutherland in close pursuit.
