Body recovered by Valleyview RCMP near Sturgeon Lake Cree Nation

On June 30th the Valleyview RCMP recovered the remains of a missing male in the M.D of Greenview.
The body of Barry Goodswimmer, who was reported missing on June 16, was located in a rural location near Sturgeon Lake Cree Nation.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Edmonton have conducted an autopsy on the body and have determined the death to be a homicide.
Two men, 39-year-old Harlin Martineau and 22-year-old Allan Hamelin, both of Sturgeon Lake, were brought into custody shortly after Goodswimmer was reported missing and have been charged with first degree murder, kidnapping and assault with a weapon in relation to this incident.
