City man busted for drugs and loaded shotgun

A city man has been arrested and charged following a traffic stop which turned up drugs and a loaded gun.
Around 3 a.m. Monday (July 29), RCMP stopped a vehicle as a result of an ongoing investigation. RCMP seized a loaded handgun, over 200 rounds of ammunition, and illegal drugs including 32 grams of Methamphetamine and 13 grams of Cocaine.
Officers also located 1.73 grams of Fentanyl, 1.5 litres of GHB, 23 Oxycodone Pills, a cell phone and Canadian currency.
Michael Jay O’Bee of Grande Prairie faces 25 counts. Charges against him include eight counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking and nine of Possession of Weapon Contrary to an Order.
