Public input helping shape future of County Connector
The County of Grande Prairie is looking to continue shaping the direction of the County Connector bus service through public feedback.
The County will be offering their second survey next month, as they look to gauge the public on what they think is working and what needs improvement as the two-year pilot program rolls on.
The service to this point has seen consistent ridership rates since the service began operating in December. Council was provided a seven-month update on the service during Monday’s meeting, which showed heavy usage between Clairmont and Grande Prairie. It also showed that nearly 83% of riders were categorized as adults (18-64 years of age)
Reeve Leanne Beaupre says she is pleased with the overall ridership to this point, and is looking forward to hearing what users think of the service. She also adds feedback plays a big role in what happens going forward with the service.
