North End Condo Fire Under Investigation

A Saturday afternoon fire at a north end condominium complex caused significant damage to one unit, and slight damage to a neighbouring property.

Grande Prairie Fire Department crews were alerted about the blaze at around 3pm.

They say it started on the deck of the unit and moved into the attic before it was extinguished.

A neighbour alerted the people inside of the unit and the neighbouring property, allowing them all to get out safely and avoid injury.
