Sep 3, 2019 | 5:30 AM

The City of Grande Prairie’s Road Rehabilitation Program is set to continue this week and next.

Mountview Business Park area and the College Park area will see cold milling, asphalt overlay, storm sewer infrastructure repairs, hot mix asphalt placement, concrete work, line painting, and landscaping, among other work.

Mountview Business Park area will see work begin on September 3, while work on 106 Street and 104 Avenue in the College Park area will start on September 11.

Crews will work from Monday to Saturday until work is complete.

The city says to expect some locations to be down to one lane alternating traffic during select periods.

This year, the City has invested $9.7 million into road construction projects to extend the life of existing roadways and replace roadways at the end of their life.

Weather permitting, these roadway upgrades are expected to be completed by the end of September.
