Eight per cent of crop combined in our area says province
The newest crop report from Alberta Agriculture says as of Monday, eight per cent of the crop had been combined in the Peace Country.
That is up from five per cent the previous week and four per cent the week before that.
Another 30 per cent has been swathed while 62 per cent is still standing.
The report adds some central areas of the Peace got up to 20 millimetres of rain over the previous week while more some places in the northern area got up to 100 mm. More rain, even some snow, has fallen in several places since that report was compiled.
