Cuteness overload: nine babies born recently to the nursing staff at the QEII Hospital

Oct 4, 2019 | 11:27 AM

The nine babies born within the last year that were part of the QEII nursing staff baby boom recently got together for a photo-shoot.

Local photographer, Maj Jose caught up with the moms and their babies at the library to take some updated pictures.

“You should have seen the library patrons, their wide-eyed amazement!” Maj said in a Facebook post.

One of the moms and her baby had to be photo-shopped in as they have moved out of the province.

The women were all part of the same unit at the QEII Hospital when they found out they were expecting, and the babies were all born within a seven-month period.

The first baby of the bunch was born December 25, 2018, and the youngest was born July 17, 2019.

Out of the nine babies, seven are girls and two are boys.

Their names are Sofia, Claire, Edelweiss, Remi, Koen, Raina, Lincoln, Mia and Tinsley.

One of the moms told Everything GP they try to get together for playdates but some have more than one child so it’s difficult for them to find a time when they can all get together.
