50+ men’s hockey group looking for more players

The Grande Prairie men’s 50+ drop-in hockey group is looking for more players.

After seeing numbers dwindle down each of the last few years, Gordon Taylor is putting a call out to any men who might be interested to come out and play.

The group meets three times a week for 90-minute ice times and play scrimmages during those times. The ice times are as follows:

• Monday: 7-8:30 p.m. Grovedale Arena
• Tuesday: 6:30-8 p.m. Crosslink County Sportsplex
• Thursday: 7:30-9 p.m. Grovedale Arena

The first ice time will be October 15 at the Sportsplex. Anyone interested in playing can drop-in starting on Tuesday. For more information, you can contact Gordon at 780-831-5983.
