Peace Region now has second-lowest unemployment rate in Alberta

Statistics Canada says the Camrose-Drumheller area now has the lowest unemployment rate in Alberta.

Its rate fell to 5.1 per cent from 5.6 per cent in September.

The region that takes in the Peace Country, which had had the lowest, now has the second-lowest rate in the province.

It stood at 5.9 per cent in September, up from 5.4. per cent in August.

Red Deer has the highest unemployment rate in Alberta at 8 per cent.
