Local farmers still making harvest progress despite wet weather

Alberta Agriculture says Peace Region farmers have been making progress on the harvest, despite continued wet weather.

In its latest crop report dated Tuesday, the province says 49.5 per cent of the crop in the Peace has been combined.

That is up from 34.8 per cent from the week before.

The five-year average for this time of year is 75 per cent.
