Third Grand Slam of Curling event begins Tuesday

Some of the best curling teams in the world have gathered in Conception Bay South, Newfoundland and Labrador for the next stop for the Grand Slam of Curling.

The National runs Tuesday through Sunday.

Draw 1 starts at 3:30 Tuesday afternoon Alberta time.

Team Scheidegger, featuring Grande Prairie’s Kristie Moore and Cary-Anne McTaggart ,will take on Kerri Einarson.

Moore will skip the team at the event, as Casey Scheidegger will be away from the team following the birth of her second child.

Meanwhile, Beaverlodge’s Geoff Walker and the Brad Gushue rink faces Scott McDonald, and Kevin Koe will take on Matt Dunstone.
