Eastlink, Coca Cola Centres closed until further notice

The Eastlink Centre and Coca Cola Centre will also be closed to the public until further notice.

In a Facebook post last night, the recreation facility says the closure is a precautionary measure to prevent any case of COVID-19 from spreading through the facility.

It’s unclear how long this closure will last. A spokesperson for the City of Grande Prairie says they are actively assessing the situation, will communicate updates on programming and memberships to the community as they become available.

As of now, there are no confirmed cases of the coronavirus in Grande Prairie, but precautionary measures are being put in place to prevent the virus from spreading in the event of an outbreak
