Province extends expiring driver’s licences, vehicle registrations, other permits & certificates until May 15

Upcoming expiry dates for Alberta drivers’ licences, vehicle registrations, other permits and certificates are being extended until May 15.

Albertans with surnames or company names beginning with B, D, G, Y now have until May 15 to renew their vehicle registrations.

Driver’s licences expire on the holder’s birthday in the year noted on the card.

Albertans with birthdays between March 17 and May 15 and whose cards expire this year, will also have until May 15, to renew.
