Province opens applications for $50 million program to help self-isolating Albertans
The Government of Alberta has officially opened applications for the $50 million financial support program, meant for self-isolating Albertans with no other source of income.
The funds are a part of government’s COVID-19 response to keep Albertans safe during this unprecedented global health crisis.
Those eligible for the assistance program fall under these categories:
- They have been diagnosed with COVID-19.
- They are caring for a dependent who is self-isolating.
- They have otherwise been directed by health authorities to self-isolate.
- They are not receiving compensation from any other source.
