Grande Prairie Minor baseball shuts down house league season

Grande Prairie Minor Baseball’s house league has become the latest victim of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The organization announced on Thursday that it’s house league season for 2020 would be cancelled due to the outbreak.

They add refunds will be issued to everyone that had already paid registration fees for this season.

The association says they will try to offer some kind of solution to get youth playing baseball in 2020, once it is deemed safe to do so.
