Section of Range Road 114 closed due to spring melt

A section of Range Road 114 in the County of Grande Prairie is closed until further notice due to flooding caused by melting snow and ice.

The section of that road between Township Roads 705 and 710 (east of Rio Grande) is closed effective immediately. Drivers can detour using either of Range Road 115 or 111A.

Anyone in the County who encounters a flooded road, road damage, or a frozen or washed out culvert that requires immediate attention can contact the County’s Public Works Emergency Line at 780-532-7393, 24 hours a day.
