A Clairmont resident and her family will soon be moving into their new home in Taylor Estates, after their ticket was drawn in the Rotary Club of Grande Prairie Dream Home Lottery.

Patti Avery, along with her partner Riley and their 4 month old daughter Julia, are the proud new owners of a $1.4 million dollar home, after her ticket was drawn during a livestream on Facebook Friday night.

The 50/50 Cash Jackpot was claimed by Oluwadamilar Ayanleke of Grande Prairie. He and his family, who are originally from Nigeria, won $235,020.

Earlier this week, club officials announced that they had raised over $270,000 for their Rapid Relief Fund, which aided Food Banks across Northwestern Alberta impacted by the Coronavirus pandemic.
