County launches interactive road closure web map

The County of Grande Prairie has launched an interactive web map to give motorists an idea of the locations of all road closures and washouts due to spring flooding.

The map, which can be found at www.countygp.ab.ca/roadclosures, includes the locations and dates of all new and existing road closures.

It also has details on detours that have been set up to move traffic around the closures.

Public Works crews will be back out Monday to work on repairing roads that have been damaged or washed out.

Anyone that comes across any new flooded, washed out, or damaged roads in the County, or frozen or jammed culverts, to contact their 24 hour Public Works Emergency Line at 780-532-7393.
