City to launch phase two of GP Grows gardening program

The City of Grande Prairie is launching the second phase of its GP Grows program.
The first phase, which launched in April, featured an indoor gardening kit with peat pellets and seeds.
The second phase will be an outdoor gardening starter pack, with various seeds to begin an outdoor garden.
Registration will open on Wednesday, May 6 at 8:30 a.m. online. The program is free and offers drive-thru pick up, and those with accessability needs can contact the City at 780-538-0300 to arrange for curbside delivery.
