Dawson Creek Exhibition and Stampede cancelled

This year’s Dawson Creek Exhibition and Stampede has been cancelled.
It was set for August 5 to 9.
Organizers say in a Facebook post that the announcement is being made “with a great deal of sadness,” but adds they are “still operating and in a building mode.”
They add that the 100th anniversary is coming in 2022 and there is a lot to get ready.
The 99th version will come first, though. It is set for August 11-15, 2021.
