Over the last 24 hours, 2,114 more people were tested in Alberta and 125 more were tested from Northern Alberta. A total of 221,571 tests have been processed in Alberta for COVID-19.

This was the first weekday in which Chief Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Deena Hinshaw, did not provide an update on COVID-19 in the province. She announced last week that in-person updates will be provided on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays starting next week.

Because of the holiday Monday this week, she will be giving her next update on Thursday afternoon.
