Aquatera to begin construction on new sanitary main along 84 Ave. Wednesday

Aquatera says it will be installing a sanitary main along 84 Avenue, between 113 Street and 116 Street starting on Wednesday, May 27. The installation is part of the Westpointe Sanitary Diversion Project.

The project will involve the diversion of the Westpointe area sanitary sewer system into the 116 Street Trunk Line in order to provide capacity relief and accommodate for future development in the area.

With the installation of the new main, the eastbound lanes will be closed between 116 and 113 Street, and traffic will be routed to single lanes in both directions on the existing westbound lanes.

The sidewalk on the south side of 84 Avenue between 113 Street and 116 Street will also be closed.
