Peace River RCMP deem child abduction as false

Peace River RCMP have deemed a case, claimed on Facebook, of a child abduction, as false.

The claim on Facebook alleges a kidnapping in Grimshaw, Alberta.

However, a thorough investigation by the RCMP show this claim to be false, and no children are at risk.

Child and Family Services have been engaged to deal with this situation.
