Eight COVID-19 cases recover in Clear Hills County
Alberta added 26 new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, as eight cases in the Clear Hills County area have recovered from the day prior.
The recoveries now mean there are two active cases in Clear Hills County as of end of day June 24. Elsewhere in the Peace Country, there were two new cases reported in the Mackenzie County region, meaning there are now four active cases there.
Updated case totals among Peace Region municipalities as of end of day June 24 are as follows:
- City of Grande Prairie: 18 cases (All recovered)
- County of Grande Prairie: Seven cases (All recovered)
- M.D. of Greenview: Three cases (All recovered)
- M.D. of Smoky River: 67 cases (57 recovered, ten deaths)
- Big Lakes County: 41 cases (One active, 35 recovered, five deaths)
- M.D. of Lesser Slave River: Five cases (All recovered)
- Northern Sunrise County: Four cases (All recovered)
- M.D. of Peace: Six cases (All recovered)
- Clear Hills County: Ten cases (Two active, eight recovered)
- County of Northern Lights: Zero cases
- Mackenzie County: 37 cases (Four active, 33 recovered)
