Partnership to offer digital marketing training to local businesses hit by COVID-19
The Business Resiliency Taskforce has partnered with several organizations in the Grande Prairie area, to offer digital marketing training to local businesses that have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We are very excited to offer this program,” said Tom Pura, with the Business Resiliency Taskforce. “The chamber [of commerce] has been working with the City of Grande Prairie and the County of Grande Prairie economic development departments since the beginning of the pandemic and we’ve been working on a number of different initiatives to support and help business and this is the next step.”
The new program, which is provided in partnership with Community Futures Grande Prairie & Region and local digital marketing agency nine10 Inc., will provide 10 local businesses that are struggling during COVID-19 to give them the tools they need to hopefully help rebuild or grow their business.
The course being provided focuses on digital content strategy, branding & visual identity, web design tools and applications, social media, search engine marketing and websites & e-commerce.
