Rest of Rodeo Canada’s 2020 events cancelled

A bull riding event in Claresholm back in February will end up being the last event on the 2020 Rodeo Canada schedule to take place.

The ones that were not already off are now cancelled because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

There had been some rescheduled events that were planned for late August.

The cancellations also include the Canadian Finals Rodeo that was to take place in November and a rodeo that was scheduled for early December in Regina.

After the three events, two of which were bull riding and one a full rodeo, that were completed, Fort St. John’s Jacob Gardner was first in the bull riding, Rylee Trenholm of Chetwynd was second in barrels, Stephen Culling, also of Fort St. John, was fourth, Gardner sixth, in steer wrestling, and Sexsmith’s Lee Rombough eighth in tie-down roping.
