Sep 1, 2020 | 4:23 PM

Alberta Agriculture’s most recent crop report, dated August 25, says one per cent of the Peace Region crop had been combined. Five per cent had been swathed.

59.8 per cent of the crop in the Peace was rated good to excellent, compared to 76.4 across Alberta. The five year average for this area is 62 per cent.

The report also says predicted yields are below the provincial average.

There is also what the provincial agriculture department calls “significant bertha army worm activity” in Mackenzie County.
