Swathing, combining well underway in Saddle Hills County

The Rural Development Department at Saddle Hills County says most of that area’s canola has been swathed.

Also, 60 per cent of the peas have been combined while combining cereal crops will start soon.

In an email to the EverythingGP newsroom, the Department also says crop maturity is progressing slowly in the area and yields are “down significantly” compared to previous years.

A few more weeks of good weather are needed to allow late seeded crops to mature.
