New COVID-19 case confirmed at Whispering Ridge Community School & Isabel Campbell School

A new case of COVID-19 has been confirmed in an individual at Whispering Ridge Community School. The school was notified of the COVID-19 case on November 18.

The Peace Wapiti Public School Division and Whispering Ridge School wish the individual a safe and speedy recovery. The groups are working with AHS to ensure that the necessary measures are in place to protect all students and staff.

On November 2, Whispering Ridge School was temporarily closed because of a staffing shortage because of AHS self-isolation requirements due to COVID-19 positive cases at the school.

The school recently re-opened to students on November 9.

Isabel Campbell Public School has also received news of a newly confirmed case of COVID-19. The school remains open for in-person learning.
