Sekulic leads team at university golf tournament

A Peace Region product has the best score on his team at the Arizona Intercollegiate golf tournament.

Rycroft’s Max Sekulic fired a three-round total of 220. His final round 69 was the best of the three. Sekulic was first among the five-man contingent that represented the Washington State University Cougars.

Sekulic finished tied for 28th overall, while his team finished ninth out of the 17 schools taking part.

A University of Arizona Wildcats player was the winner with a three-day total of 209.
