Apr 30, 2021 | 5:52 PM

An outbreak of COVID-19 has been confirmed at the Grande Prairie Costco.

According to Alberta Health, 11 total cases of COVID-19 have been identified. Five cases are currently active and six people have fully recovered.

Non-healthcare workplaces, events, public settings (restaurants, salons, and gyms) and sports activities are listed when there are 10 or more COVID-19 cases confirmed at one site.

Costco will remain on the province’s COVID-19 outbreak list until there have been 30 straight days of no new cases confirmed at the site.
