Driedger resigns as Trustee of Grande Prairie Public School Division
The Grande Prairie Public School Division’s Board of Trustees will be one trustee short for the remainder of its term.
Lynn Driedger has had to resign from her position after moving out of the City of Grande Prairie.
Driedger had served on the board since being elected in 2017, and the board says they are “very appreciative of the hard work and dedication that Mrs. Driedger provided to the division during her term as Trustee and will miss all that she had to offer the Grande Prairie Public School Division community.”
As per Section 80 of the Education Act, the board will finish the rest of the term as a six-person board and will not seek a replacement until the 2021 Municipal Election in October.
