Grande Prairie non-profits invited to document shredding party at Community Village

Non-profit organizations in the Grande Prairie area invited down to the Community Village parking lot on June 11 for the Community Shredding Party.

From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. that day, the Grande Prairie Volunteer Services Bureau, Prairie Disposal and the Community Village have partnered together to offer non-profits groups the opportunity to safely and securely shred any outdated, sensitive documents.

A free, physically distanced barbecue will also be held as part of the event, provided by Citrus Catering and prepared by the Salvation Army.

Any agencies wishing to take part are asked to RSVP with the Volunteer Services Bureau at 780-538-2727 or by emailing admin@volunteergrandeprairie.com.

The vent is only for those groups in need of document shredding, and all public health orders in place on that day will be followed.
